We will convene our 2.5 day ASMD 2027 Directors Forum in Fort Collins, Colorado from February 8-11, 2027. Plan to travel on February 8 and arrive in time for an evening reception from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Sunset Lounge in the conference hotel (The Elizabeth Hotel in the Fort Collins historic district). Plan your departure on February 11 (late afternoon or evening) or on February 12. If you want to stay longer to explore the area, the group rate will be extended two days pre and post at the group rate depending on hotel availability. ASMD Members and Co-Executive Directors Cheryl Donaldson Moses and Shannon Quist will host us in the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery. They are working with the program committee to plan another inspirational Forum that will explore the host museum and innovative institutions in the area with their leadership teams. They are targeting dynamic speakers and panelists to address the grand challenges that Museum CEOs are tackling across the country. There will be plenty of time for networking with colleagues about strategies for advancing our institution during these tough economic times. The meeting is open to ASMD members, their invited Associate Directors, and special guests invited by ASMD President Jason Cryan, Executive Director of the Natural History Museum of Utah.
